The Federation of the Civil Organizations welcome the Tamil Peopl’s Council

The Federation of the Civil Organizations had welcomed the TPC formed under the hegemony of the CM, NPC and had stated that the Women and Youth representation should be inducted into the TPC.

While welcoming the TPC which had been formed to guide continuously the struggle for the right of self determination and make people based, and encompassing Society groups, political parties and labour unions etc., we are happy to take part in the TPC.

The Tamil people should surpass the political self interests of the current political leadership whos think of every thing in terms of Election politics and chair competition politics and rally round the TPC.

Their statement had been signed jointly by the Joint spokespersons of the Federation, Kumaravadivel Kuruparan and Ezhilrajan.
