Three suspects of Attack on Jaffna courts arrested by CID coming in a White Van, after the case
Tension prevailed in Jaffna Courts complex after three suspects of the attack on Jaffna court case were arrested by Colombo CID, who came in a white van.
Jaffna Court Complex was attacked on last May 20th subsequent to ‘Vithya’s case’. 74 suspects appeared for the case against them connected to the attack. When the suspects were coming out of the court at the conclution of the hearing, Colombo CID officers coming in a ‘White Van’ arrested three of the suspects. When the others queried on the reason of arrest they were told that they are being arrested for inquiries. Other suspected hurriedly left the spot in fear of being arrested.
However, it is reported that, they were arrested with due permission from the courts. It was also reported that, reports are to be filed on the three persons arrested yesterday and they had been taken to Colombo.
M.Ketheeswaran, T.Ajanthan, and V.Akilan are the suspects who were arrested.
