TNA members have taken the money news is completely false: Senathirajah in Jaffna
TNA members were invited and given large amount of funds is fully false, TNA MP Senathirajah refused this news and also promise to reveal the real facts.
Yesterday in Jaffna a meeting was held between the leaders of the alliance party of TNA and after that meeting Senatharajah said the above during a press conference held at the Illankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi’s (ITAK) Jaffna office.
But two days before, the TNA spokesman Suresh Premachandran at a press conference held in Jaffna said that for some development project in north the resettlement ministry has allocated 45 million rupees and for other development projects the TNA member have been allocated money, he did not know anything about it.
Mavai said the following at the press conference,
We have asked about 5 million funds for the renovation of wells, small pond and roads in Poonagar and 40 million rupees funds for the reconstruction 8 streets in the Vali, east.
Some of the TNA members have been invited to south and provided with huge amount of fundings where published in media nd internet news sites. This is one of the worst news and against the true fact. We have to prove it.
In this connection, I have wrote a letter to the Northern Provincial Chief Minister. I request him to investigate the truth in relation to this matter. After the response from him we arranged a press conference and release to the media the actual explanation. We also decided to prepare a report in this regard.
We have released that a meeting should be organized between the NPC members and TNA parliamentarians. The sole purpose of this meeting is to unitedly discuss how to resolve this misconceptions. Such meeting has become very important today. A similar meeting will be held in the eastern province, he said.
