TNA makes false promises to the Tamil people: Douglas

EPDP former parliamentarian Douglas Devananda has charged that the Tamil National Alliance has made false promises to resolve the problems of the political prisoners and the disappeared.

Speaking to the media today, he stated that the TNA promised to solve these issues after they captured the administration of the northern provincial council. That was not done. They once again promised that these issues will be resolved with the election of Maithripala as president. That has also not happened.
