TNA’s surrender to EPDP continues in Capturing Karainagar and Vali west Sabais

The TNA yesterday captured Karainagar and Vali West Pradeshiya Sabais with the support of EPDP and UNP. TNA had earlier captured Chavakachcheri  and Point Pedro Town Councils also with the support of the EPDP. It had also captured Valveddithurai TC   with an alliance as above. In the voting for Karainagar PS, held with the LGC, Patrick Diranjan presiding, yesterday at 9.00 a.m., Wijayatharma Ketheeswarathas secured 7 votes(TNA -3, EPDP – 2 and UNP -2) as against Mayilan Apputhurai’s 3 votes. TNPF abstained from voting.

In the voting for Vali West PS, held with the LGC, Patrick Diranjan presiding, yesterday at 2.00 p.m., T.Nadanenthiran secured 19 votes (TNA -9, EPDP – 4 and UNP -3, SLFP – 1, Ind. – 2) as against TNPF’s T.Rajeevan’s 6 votes.
