We cannot accept Gota declaring that he will serve only majority people, says M.A.Sumanthiran

The Pothuvil to Polykandy Rally is not one against the Sinhalese people. It is one undertaken by minority people to win their rights, said  TNA MP, M.A.Sumanthiran.

He said so  while was participating in the P 2P Rally.

He further said that this Rally had been undertaken to condemn the activities of the Government against the Tamil people. All should understand that this not one against the majority people. The Tamil people in this country has the right to enjoy all the rights enjoyed by the majority people. However the President Gota speaking in the Independence Day Celebration had said that he is a Sinhalese Buddhist. We have no objection in him being so. But we cannot accept him saying that he will serve the majority. This country belongs to us. We are undertaking this Rally on this basis, he said.
