We have no faith in the special Courts, Give pressure to government, say TPPs to TNA and NPC

The  Tamil Political Prisoners (TPPs) have sent a press statement saying that they do not have any faith in the special court set for them and that the TNA and the NPC should join together to exert pressure on the Government for their release. The Government which said that it will take action to release TPPs through the special court had done nothing in that direction. Hence we have no faith in the special court .

When people charged under PTA are being released by courts at Trincomalee, Batticaloa and Jaffna, the same justice is denied to us in Colombo. Hence while humbly requesting the Government to release us we call upon TNA and the NPC to join hands and exert pressure on the Government for our release, they have said.
