We have taken the first step : Wigneswaran in the publicizing of Draft Political Solution Plan of TPC

“ The importance of this day is that we have taken our first step with the Tamil people’s mind knowing it.” said the NPC CM, C.V.Wigneswaran in his Co-chair address during the event of publicizing The Draft Political Solution Plan of the TPC, held yesterday,Saturday, at the Weerasingam hall, Jaffna. “ The loyalty to the Party had blinded the eyes of some. But the important thing is the future of the people of the North and East. The future life of generations of our heirs is important to us. We should not hesitate traverse any difficult path, to wards this end.”, he said.

Although, in order to prevent the CM from taking part in this event , 20 members of the NPC had signed  and given a letter insisting the CM should not take part in this meeting, he participated in the event and commented that the act of the NPC Members is a strange one.”, said he.

The Parties should know mindset of the people before they act. Just because you had been elected by people, you should not act according to your whims and fancies, without learning the mindset of the people regarding matters related to interests of the people. I most humbly request all, not to ruin future life of the Tamil people,  giving priority to past party experiences, he requested.

He also called upon Tamil Political Leaders, in his speech, to get out of the “ We will take what is given” attitude.
