Answering a question from media men whether  Wigneswaran will be the CM candidate of the TNA , Era Sampanthan said that it is not so.

He said so during a Media conference with Tamil journalists yesterday evening at the Office of the Leader of the Opposition.

Although, Sampanthan answering a question of a journalist, whether the Indian Government does not apply much pressure on Sri Lanka, regarding solution to the Tamil People, instantly answered ‘ yes … it is like that’ and later regained his composure to answer “  India has much concern over problems of Tamil people. It is taking actions in this regard.”
