“Women candidates fielded in all 5 districts of North and East”: Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam

Gajendrakumar  Ponnambalam, the leader of Tamil National People’s Front (TNPF) said his party has fielded women candidates in all 5 districts of North and East to ensure women’s equality and given more  chance to young people contest in the upcoming election.

He stated this during an  event held at Jaffna Press Club held yesterday to introduce TNPF candidates in Jaffna district.

“We have fielded more young people in North and East to create a new political culture. We continue to voice for the recognition of the Tamil Nation in the Island of Sri Lanka.     The Tamil National Front (TNPF) will continue its journey on a policy of One Country Two Nations within Thimbu Principles. “ said Gajendrakumar  Ponnambalam.
