You cannot divide and rule us, says Sumanthiran in the Pothuvil – Poligandy rally

We can face the majority chauvinism which has been unleased against  our people just because we don’t belong to the majority, only if we stand united, said the TNA MP, M.A.Sumanthiran.

In a context where the grand attention drawing demanding justice held from Pothuvil – Polikandy reaching Oddamavady in Batticaloa, Sumanthiran expressed his opinion to the media.

The majority rule is a rule that is oppressing us. We have put forward several matters against the way we are being oppressed and ruled without any freedom. People are joining our struggle in all places.

Long term problems of the Tamil people, the release of our Political Prisoners, justice delivered to people made to disappear, the robbery of our lands should be stopped, and the destruction of the worship laces should be stopped.

To date, they have divided and handled us separately. Through this P to P walkathon we have given a message that they cannot divide and rule us, he said.
