National Cup winning U-19 Foot-ball team of Jaffna District to India for special training
The Under 19 Foot ball team of the Jaffna district which won the National Under 19 championship conducted by Sri Lanka Football Federation had left for India for further training and practice matches.
The district which will stay in India until 25th of this month will take part in practice matches against the teams of University of Kailasalingam and the Viruthunagar League, said the President of Jaffna Foot ball League, E.Arnold, at the press conference held at the Ariyalai Football training Centre on day before yesterday . The NPC Minister of Sports, T, Kurukularajah, the Secretary of the Jaffna Football League, Ajithkumar abd vice-President, Clifort ASnthonypillai also attended this press conference.
