St Patrick’s College , Jaffna on a goal spree, beat St.Peter’s, Colombo on its own ground
St. Ptrick’s College, Jaffna scored a spectacular victory in a match in the Foot Ball Series for Kothmalai Socks Cup , conducted by the Sri Lanka Foot Ball federation.
St. Patrick’s was pitted against St. Peter’s College Colombo in one of the matches of the series heldat the St. Peter’s ground.
In the 8th minute, Patrician Andre hit the nets to put St. Patrick’s in the lead. Cains scored again in the 25th minute. St. Peter’ answered with a goal in the before the match was stopped for the lemons. Second half was in the domination of St. Patrick’s. Peters could not match the ball-passing of St.Patrick’s. With Abishan, cains scoring respectively in 12th and 20th minutes and Santhan scoring twice in the 25th and 28th minutes, St. Patrick’s romped home with a 6 to 1 beating St.Peter’s in their own ground.
